A Beautiful Me has a heart for women at every stage of their journey. Our vision is to see relationships grow among all ages as we support each other. Regardless of our culture, we hope to gather together in faith, following Christ’s example, with a common mission to love each other and ourselves.

A Beautiful Me is a non-profit, mentoring organization, based on faith to foster
self-esteem and independence for girls
from 3rd - 12th grade.

When a healthy self-esteem is not developed during the formative years, children learn to look outside of themselves for their identity and even their self-worth. Some children, as young adults, turn to substance abuse, the negative influence of some of their peers, unwanted pregnancy, and so on to secure a sense of belonging, based on their lack of self-esteem. The costs to a community are obvious; the involvement of police and the legal system, the negative impact on the schools, the need for counseling, the potential for unemployment, etc.

A Beautiful Me will help make a difference as others join us in creating an environment of young women that internalize their true beauty.

Take the ‘self’ out of self-esteem and replace it with God-esteem and you have a different visual. Esteem doesn’t come from your appearance, your work, your family, or other people. You’re highly esteemed simply because God created and chose you. God doesn’t say, “If only she’d lose five pounds, I could love her more.” A Beautiful Me dreams of a day when cultures promote healthy ideas about self-worth. Until that day we will create a culture within our organization that promotes these truths to all women.

Our mission is to reach out to the community
of girls ages 8 - 18 and simply foster their
self-esteem and independence with a mentoring program. When young girls believe in themselves and have respect for themselves, their positive attitude emanates outward and creates an environment of confident women. These women will stand tall and know they are beautiful both inside and out.
